Fritiof - Fritiof shared that he is on the SHS tennis team and feels his game is improving. He plays doubles and has his first tournament soon. Hes been very busy and enjoying all the new opportunities he has experienced. Thanks Fritiof!
Program - Christina Berry introduced Pastor Gary Dekoekoek. Gary provided information on the Unite Camp which is a movement of teenagers who UNITE for a 1/2 week of fun, service and worship. Teens in grades 8 -12 come together to paint houses in our communities for those who may not be able to do it for themselves.
This year's event is June 4 - 7, 2019. Cost to students is $50, although scholarships are available for those who need assistance with this fee. In 2018 this group painted 5 homes in Sterling & Rock Falls.
There is a Facebook page where you can obtain more information and the website address is saukvalleyunite.org. Applications to participate or to apply for your home to be painted can be found at the website.
This group is a blessing to our local youth and to our community, Thanks Christina & Gary.
